MultiX Low Frequency - The Low frequency system with a parallel architecture

 

MultiX Low Frequency systems benefit from a parallel and modular hardware architecture allowing to build 16 to 64 channels systems to better fit to all requirements for laboratory and industrial environment.

Such a structure offers all combinations between transmitters/receivers and digitised channels; it can drive all array probe design (linear, matrix) and applies all conventional inspection modes (pulse-echo, through transmission, tandem, twin crystals, Tofd…), or you can create your own inspection mode.

Conventional probes can be used in simultaneous or sequential multi channels configurations, to build phased array process (Acoustic Emission - AE, Structural Health Monitoring - SHM).

MultiX architecture makes easy parallel emission (Paintbrush, wide beam emission) and fast Reconstruction (MulitX/Long products).

 

MultiX LF benefits from a wide and low frequency bandwidth, with capability to chain and modulate transmitted pulses:

- Bandwidth from 50 kHz to 20 MHz; for testing of noisy materials as concrete or cast stainless steel.

- Burst & Chirp capability with frequency modulation; beyond energy increase for absorbent materials, waveform control can be used to propagate guided waves in cables and plates.

Multi2000 software controls the hardware; it describes the testing configuration, acquires and displays data from the inspection. CIVA modules are included in our software to simulate the testing configuration and compute relevant focal laws.

 

 

Remote/Control software tools are supplied to integrate M2M systems inside automatic inspection machine. These tools make use of Ethernet to control M2M software and hardware, to synchronise them with external devices and to export data resulting from the inspection.
